Synopsis: Introductory Access SQL Programming course using MS Access. Also covers using the MS Access Query Designer. Students will gain a thorough introduction to designing and implementing MS Access queries using JET SQL in this unique course. Can also be taught with SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle as the back-end. A basic knowledge of MS Access and query concepts is assumed.
Formats: Small groups onsite at your facility or online. Single individuals may arrange a private online session.
Scheduling: Flexible. Both onsite and online classes are custom scheduled to suit.

Session 1	Basic MS Access SQL Data Retrieval, Functions	3.0 Hours
	Relational database foundations Basic data retrieval operations, DML SQL Select statement SQL Predicates, SQL Where clause (filters) Operators Sorting Calculated fields, Concatenation SQL Date Functions, Etc.
Session 2	MS Access SQL Grouping, Data Manipulation	3.0 Hours
	String Manipulation SQL Aggregate functions (SUM, AVG, etc.) SQL Group by Having Inner join, outer join, self join Single and multi-valued subqueries Queries built from queries Unions Modifying data: Insert, Update, Delete, Select...Into Parameter queries
